Nothing for opening weekend...Didnt even see a single one...Until next time..

I didn't plan on doing any hunting this weekend, but checking feeders it didn't look very promising. One of the guys on the lease saw a nice 8-10pt as he was pulling up about 300yds from his feeder and it took off. Had a 6pt and does in the fence at the feeder.

I passed a up nice 10 this morning. It was a hard hard choice to let him walk. If i see him again later in the season he might get it. looked like he needed more age. Ill try and find a picture of him and post it up.

I didnt have a stand or anything. Just a stool stuck in some ceder trees haha.

We hunted our place in east texas this past weekend. The bucks are chasing hard. I didn't see much but a few buddies did. My old man shot a 8 point that was too young to be taken

Had a good size doe and a cull come in Saturday evening. Illegal 4pt(Im in a AR county) hung around for about 45 minutes on Sunday morning. and another cull and a illegal 4pt came in sunday evening. I passed them all up this weekend. im going back out next weekend. probaly take 1 of those culls or doe if they show back up.
