I know a few people that do the Cabelas reward cards. One got a yeti and the other is working towards a new rifle. I've thought about getting a Cabelas card but I just don't shop there a whole lot.

neither do i. I actually never shop there unless i need it right now.

But you cant beat free.

That is never a bad thing. My biggest issue with Cabelas is I can get most everything cheaper elsewhere. Now some of their clothes or boots can sometimes be hard to beat but that's about it.

Yeah, nothing like sitting in a tree freezing my nuts off and seeing deer 80-100yrds off.

In Arkansas, I think I would have done better, but it was more traditional woods, not scrub trees and mesquite. Our lease has several piplines run through it, and I set up my blind and feeder on a T, so I had three long lines of site. I also had a ground blind on a rock ledge over a creek, that was a great spot too, but not a bow spot at all.

Man, if I can keep around whats coming to my feeders right now, this is gonna be a great season. I have 2 that are shooters and are already with nubbed antlers legal shooters. One is a nice mature buck with a beautiful red coat. Long time till season though.

another stud shows his face. Im excited as hell that my actions are paying off. ive got 30x the amount of bucks in velvet this year vs all the past.

his shed from last year top right. He broke off his main beam last year and got a pass. This Is prob the #1 buck im after this year. I hope his right side does what it did last year.

Thanks for the heads up Zippo. I use gold tip arrows, but im anal about flexing them and looking for damage. Last thing you want is a carbon arrow blowing up on you.

I still use some old Easton aluminum arrows.

Im a wimp with a short dl. 26.5 at 63 pounds =s only 257fps with a 400gr arrow The last aluminum arrows i had was when i was a kid, i bent those things all to heck and could never get them to fly right again.

I couldn't tell you my draw length but the pull is 70lbs. I have a damn antique by today's standards when you pull it back you hold all draw weight.
