  • how to remove these roll pins?

Got this AR adjustable buttstock with some other stuff in a trade. I wasn't informed it had been made NON-adjustable......Anyone know how to get these roll pins out? The holes are not all they way through.

A small screw threaded in and a slide hammer.

I think you got had on that trade. The only way I can think of is maybe a really small drill bit, and drill them out? Not even real sure it would work honestly. What were you after in the trade, the stock or the buffer tube? Worse case, destroy the stock so that you can get some pliers in on the roll pins.

Drill them out on a press. Just keep using a larger and larger bit till they are eaten away.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

The "trade" was for a whole bunch of other stuff included. I made out well enough to trash this if I had to.

Nightfly, I might just take you up on that if I end up trashing this stock.

Yeah Keith, I think that's the way I'm going to go with it. Just have to be patient, and exact on my drilling. I was hoping there was a miracle cure or some trick I didn't know about. e.g. using grease on a pilot bearing to "press" the bearing out.

Cool. Let me know. They are black. I think one may have a small S&W logo. Thats the milspec. The commercial is blank

Well, I found out REAL quick the differences between a coiled Roll pin and a regular one. Those coiled roll pins are a MAJOR PITA!!! Ruined the but stock and made the freak'n tube useable only by me. (No one would pay for this thing.) The stock is out, but it is trashed. If anyone has a stock near Mansfield or Whitesettlment (Weekdays) please let me know.
