what's a PSA .223 worth...

Is a brand new PSA .223 worth $1200 in today's market? I'm considering selling it so I have the $$ when another guns comes up for sale some where.

In my opinion, I wouldn't pay over MSRP. You can go to places like Bass Pro Shops, Academy, and Cabelas and pick up rifles off the shelf all day long.

its worth about $800-$900 from what i can tell, about 3-4 months ago i was able to sell one for $1800 but it is very close back to normal market prices.

I can get a colt 6920 with magpul furniture for 1200 so I would say no

I'd start by asking for $1200 and see if there is anyone who will pay that. From what I've seen, there are plenty of dummies out there willing to pay too much for ARs even now.

I had one listed for $1300 with 60rnd surefire mags 3 weeks ago with absolutely no calls or emails....I think that market is gone for now.

I knew that prices have been coming down, but I was kind of hoping since they're not sitting on the shelves all day long just yet, that I'd be able to sell it for about $1200. Also, kits are generally cheaper but not everyone can put one together or knows someone that can.

I saw another .308 on gun trader which is what I'm really wanting, but I don't want to be out any more $$. If I could make it happen with minimal extra money, then cool but if not, then it's no biggie.

There are plenty of places locally with AR15's on the shelf. Ask what you think it's worth but don't be surprised if it's not selling and if you catch crap about the price.

They are on the shelves now all day long.

Go to Cabelas, There are at least 20 different types of AR-15's on the shelf.

Higher than Shit (CTD) has at least 20 different types of AR-15's on the shelf.

Academy Sports is now putting out AR-15's on the shelfs.

There are tons of AR's out there now. I can go to any gun store now and see at least 2-3+ different types of AR-15's.

Heck, even ammo is now returning. If I look I can find everything from 22 to 5.56 with pretty much ease.

A buddy of mine frequents Cabela's so he's been keeping an eye out for .223. I got 5 boxes a few weeks ago for $10.xx ea.

I don't think the Wal-Mart in GP even buys any more ammo. They're shelves have been practically empty for months at various times of the day.

Remember, just because you don’t see it on the shelf, doesn’t mean they don’t have it.

Also, a lot of employees may be taking the ammo for themselves, which will give you a false impression and can be misleading. But I have seen a BIG difference over the past month or so, it is turning around and quickly.
