I was honestly disappointed with my S&W 500. I have a 44 and 45colt blackhawk and I was hoping that 500 would do the trick but no dice.. I also have a s&w 357 and ruger LCR 357 and those just don't even come close to cutting it.

I want a revolver I can't shoot one handed.

Let me load a few rounds for your 500.
Here's phaux shooting 440gr @ 1600fps through mine. These are rough.



I have shot 700gr (which some people call t-rex) which is just a giant lead cylinder to get maximum weight (and recoil) that's just for exhibition. A really hot 440gr load is beastly, if you think you can shoot it one handed without damaging your wrists I'd like to see it. I can shoot a 300gr @ 2000fps one handed, but no way I'm going to try it with a 440gr @ 1600.

I ordered a model 10 police trade from buds. I pick it up from Jeff tomorrow. I love my 442 and lcr. Now I just need a model 64 and a model 65, 686 or gp100

I went from no wheel guns to 4 in a year.

$99 Nagant. Get one cause it is cheap and mine, for a cheap gun has a great trigger and is fun to shoot.
I kept the .41magnum that I had for sale. Fun to shoot and a quality handgun
S&W 442 Airweight. I did the trigger job that Matt recommended and love the gun
Dan Wesson .22lr.......has to be, by and large the most fun out of the revolvers I own. It is the target model with the thick barrel shroud and at 10yrs shoots one tiny hole.

You just need hotter rounds.

Trade your 500 in on one of the 2" barreled models they sold for a while.

if you are just looking for something fun to shoot, the taurus large frame 44's are pretty fun. I have a 4" .44mag and I like the dirty harry factor with it.
