  • Storing guns outside of residence

Similar to what pet owners do when going out of town. I plan on being gone for 10+ days and I would like to store my firearms away from my home. I do have a safe, but for piece of mind I would prefer them to be in a more secured facility. Must be Class 3 friendly also. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Safe deposit box or move your safe to a friends house.

Parents Home, Friends Home, Bank (Safety Deposit Box), or leave them at your home (With an alarm system). Just make sure you have insurance on your firearms. If someone steals them, you'll get cash to replace them.

I would let you store them in my safe but there isn't enough room for a nat's ass in there.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I thought for sure you would have taken advantage of the panic and sold some (or all) of your basic AR builds.

I missed the good window while I was stuck here and couldn't come home. No worries. They will just be worth as much and more when O tries it again in a few months. He just needs the right disaster.

Since starting this thread I've been wandering about my NFA items. I have no trustees only a beneficiary should I give up the ghost. Can a beneficiary keep NFA items in their possession for safe keeping?

Sad but true. I can't wait for this pricks second term to be over.

If you can leave them at a friends house that does not reside in the city. The more secluded and less prone to theft the better. If you can, also go a step further and bury them like I did with some of mine with PVC pipe. I of course am gone from the U.S. for more than 10 days. If you can too split them apart. I wished my mum wouldn't be so aggressive against guns or I would have them at my parents house.

you can pawn them, they'll toss them in their safe, and then you pick up the slip when you return. A lot of people do that.

This is the way to go. Pawn all of your guns for $10 each and you get an urban fort knox between them and the baddies.

Is there a time limit with pawn shops?
