I'm not a revolver fan but I have a good friend that is offering a S&W model 686 357 with a 6" barrel and hogue grps for $300. There are a few scratches and the cylinder shows a little wear but other than that it has been taken care of. Does this sound like a good price?

And you can get a brand new cylinder (unfluted, which I personally like better) for less than $150 (may be able to find for less, this was 10 seconds of searching):
Buy it.
Hopefully he has ammo! lolLast edited by Chili; 05-10-2013, 08:15 PM.

Thanks everyone. I just picked it up. I'm probably going to hang on to it for the time being just for the fact it's a good friend and I told him I would give him the first chance at buying it back if he decides to one day. It was more about getting it so that it didn't end up in a pawn shop.
