How many of you would open carry?

Just curious. Just seems like it would make you more of a target for criminals if they knew someone was carrying. That and having to be constantly on the look out for someone eyeballing you to either rob you or steal your gun.

Personally I would prefer to be concealed carry and leave the criminals "wondering". Even at home I rarely open carry (like in a paddle holster) and always throw on long shirt to cover it unless I'm at home alone. Discuss.

Im for it so that if you flash a gun there is no issue, like if your shirt comes up, etc. I would continue to CC either way.

I always thought I'd do it more often than I do, now that I have an open carry permit. I still just end up concealing anyway. It draws A LOT of attention.

I prolly would eventually. Arizona and oregon have it and people who open carry aren't getting shot down in the street. I'd mainly like it so I can carry my p226 owb and not have to worry if it's printing or showing.

I believe there may be some cases where it is useful but none come to mind. IMO you are potentially making yourself a target and definitely taking away the element of surprise.

I would. Have my .357 on my hip and a concealed carry pistol as well. Always have more than what you show
