Coating is extra. But regular phosphate is $90 with the number we're at.

Pretty nifty. Thanks for seeking this out. Hope it pans out, I could use two BCG's to complement the GB lowers and LPK's that I will receive in 2016!!

What are the benefits to each type of coating or is it mostly personal preference?

From what I can find from googling, Schilco seems to be a startup company. They are working with another company, CWPSE, who themselves seem to be in the law enforcement lights/sirens resale industry but not so much the firearms industry until just recently when they started selling mags and ammo. I can't find any website other than fb or contact info for schilco, though cwpse has a site, it is shotty at best. WMD seems to be legit.

I'm not saying this couldn't be a great deal, I'm just saying maybe sending them a check for all 100 at once might not be the smartest move. Maybe doing a contract for the full amount and sending them checks for ten at a time as they're completed might be safer. After getting fucked by silentRx I'm pretty leery of startups. I would have no problem if I could tour the place or have them send us a BCG for testing and fire 500rnds with it and either buy it or send it back to them. If we're ordering 100 BCG's they should have no problem with us preordering one as a sample. Seeing as they seem to be based near San Antonio and I'll be there in a week and a half I could check the place out.

Below are the sites I could find.

Also, Cody, of Schilco Industries, has seemed to have had problems in the past with orders as seen here on another forum:

Friction and ability to clean easier in some cases.

Really only helps if you are rapid firing where friction can become a big problem. Other than that, just looks nicer and easier to clean.

I was thinking something similar as far as testing out one or two of their bolts before such a big buy.

Not a bad idea! Thanks for the leg work. That was one of my hesitations about doing this was us getting ripped off and then it looking bad on me. I'm gonna call and see if I can buy one now and get it shipped to me and tested.

Just got off the phone with him and said his first order that he made for himself should be delivered May 20th. So after that he will send me one and I will show anyone who wants to see it and have you guys inspect it before we place the order. The thing is that's 14 days away. So that will give some of you guys the extra time and after I receive the BCG from him we will place a deadline on orders and payment due date. That is if everyone is satisfied with the product.

Talked to him Monday and he said his first shipment was on the way. When he received them he would get in contact with me to send me a sample. When I receive it I'll let the guys who want to, inspect it. If its a good quality BCG we'll proceed from there.

When you do get it, please post some good pics for those of use who are unable to meet you for a QC review, thanks.
