    This is also the same group that saw, "no sporting purpose," for handguns. Never mind the existence of the IDPA, IPSC, SASS, pistol class in the Olympics for many years, and numerous other sporting events revolving around handguns. Dick's gets no dollars of mine. If a well meaning friend or relative of mine gave me a gift card, I would get the cash back from the card, and go to Cabela's or MidwayUSA.

            I can't stand Dicks, I only go there as a last resort and come out pissed off reminding myself why I don't go there. I have one fairly close too. Sports Athority is no better. Neither has had what I went in looking for the last 3 or 4 times I went there. I walked out feeling like, " what a waste of time".

                I'm going to burn a bunch of it next week. Prices weren't great, but not terrible like a lot of places. If it wasn't for the gift card I probably wouldn't have entered there.

                  About the only retail ammo I buy is 22lr. Since I can still assemble the rest for less. Gift cards are tough. I wont darken Dicks door though. Makes me wonder when they'll quit selling football equipment. ... lol

                          Street consensus for Cabela's revenue is up about 16% Y/Y, stock is up 53% YTD.

                              I just bought a Ruger 10/22 the walmart was out of stock so I pulled online adds up and Academy had 199.99 and Dicks was 249 so I called Cedar Hill store and asked if they would match the price. The guys told me yes just bring a print out up and he had several on shelf. I go to the store and the guy is like well you have to call and they must have it in stock before I can match and then I must speak with them and he takes off. I called and they did not have any so I called another store and the guy was not in sight then he showed up just as they were giving me stock from another store and said aww dont worry about it talked to the manager she said it was ok but I have not been able to sell any because we do not have ammo for it. I almost left because he was being such a jerk but I really did not want to drive around any more.I do not see my self shopping with them anymore worth the $20 FFL fee to buy online and have shipped in
