Whats the "best" scope for a ruger 10/22 these days? I use the term best loosely, budget less than $200. Ive got a bell and carlson stock, and a bull barrel going on it so I would like a decent optic aswell.
Thanks

SWFA is an optics manufacturing specializing in rifle scopes built for tactical, hunting, and long range shooting known for quality and precision optics.
I've been through 3 of them and had problems with each one. My girlfriends dad has one on his Marlin 60 and swears by it. I have a Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn 4-12x40 with an AO that works perfect for my turtle killing.

I really like the sweet 22, but some people hate them. I've bumped/dropped it pretty good and so far so good. Just a matter of perspective I guess.
From my understanding, at some point within the last year or two, BSA changed where plants where their scopes were being produced, and after that change their quality was said to have been a lot better.

I've always had cheap 3-9 power scopes on my .22's and never been too disappointed with any of them, the ones I have on them right now are an old bushnell, a centerpoint and a barska. The barska has the best eye relief and might be the clearest. The centerpoint with the lighted reticle is the foggiest, worst eye relief of the bunch.
