I finally picked up a knife a few months ago. SOG Twitch II. Almost ashamed to say it is the first pocket knife I have ever had. I am not real sure how I made it all this time without one! What all needs to be fone to maintain the blade? Recommended sharpening method?

Love my Kershaw 1550.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.

I carry a blackout daily, started with the whirlwind (same knife basically), I've never been able to duplicate the factory edge on it. I use the gatco setup, but not nearly as sharp and doesn't hold an edge as long. That being said I use it as a tool, it cuts rope, wires, cardboard, tape, hose, basically anything I need to to do. I'm pleased with the kershaw stuff. I also have a couple other assisted kershaws, a benchmade I picked up from Buzzo, assorted other auto openers, and knives I've collected or been given over the years.
