Anyone have experience with both? I am looking to buy QD for my 5.56 AR as well as my 300BLK setup and plan on getting a can in 30 caliber so I can use it on both. I'd like to get a QD setup so the thread of the barrel doesn't matter. I'm torn now between YHM Phantom 7.62 with its QD setup or the AAC 762SDN6 with a Brakeout on the 300 and a Blackout on the 223

Just checked them out, never knew they did QD, but I am not looking for a full up muzzle brake for either rifle, especially not for the 556 so neither of their mounts interest me. Unless I'm missing something, because their site has no muzzle devices actually listed, I had to Google elsewhere

They do. Great can, still the lightest .30 I believe. A lot of people dismiss weight as secondary importance until they actually hold them. Unless you only bench shoot with a bi-pod on the end of the firearm, weight is everything.
Always spend the extra $100-$200 for the lighter can."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

Id buy one that the dealer has IN STOCK, otherwise you may have a long wait for the dealer to get it.
Manufacturers are over a month behind and with form 3s taking almost a month and a half behind you can wait about three months just to be able to fill out a form 4.
At that point you will have about a 5-8 month wait. Ive heard the NFA may be up to a year now.

In my opinion the best .223 can on the market is the Silencerco Saker. That is one bad ass suppressor for many reasons. In .30 cal land the Arbiter is the lightest, and it's rated for .300 magnum, it comes in direct thread on, thread over muzzle brake, and quick detach. They also make a 7" version of the arbiter called the Reaper for compact applications.
I have shot the Cyclone (AAC's .30 cal) and it's much heavier and isn't rated to .300 win mag. The sound suppression is just about identical, and the arbiter is cheaper. The cost of your QD/TOMB's is very important. SAS's are $135 a piece, and just remember you'll need one for every rifle you want to suppress. Might not sound like much, but when you have more in custom brakes you might have a moment of clarity."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
