          Bingo! When they took away guns, stabbings/slashings went through the roof. Now they're trying to outlaw sharply pointed knives (say it with me, "WTF?!?!"). Sooo, logic would have it that stabbings will go down and slashings and beatings will go up. As long as humans have arms and legs, there will be violence against other humans.
