Anyone have problems with Remington ammo????

When I finished my .300 blk ar I could only find Remington Match Ammo at the time. My son and I went hog hunting tonight and when he unloaded the gun the projectile had came out of the case He pulled the mag out and then pulled the charging handle to extract the chambered round. When he reached down to grab it from the ground the projectile was laying next to the case!

When we got home I barely pulled on another one and the projectile popped right out! Out of the original box of 20 I bought I've only shot 10 rounds. The others have pretty much just sit.

Anyone else have problems like this?

Or am I just being paranoid and it's normal? I've never had a projectile just pop out like that before.

Not normal at all. You could probably go through the trouble of contacting Remington and they might send you a new box. I've done this with 22lr before with good results besides the fact that I had to cover shipping costs.

Where did you buy the ammo? IE did an individual scam you? If it was at a store I would definitely call Remington

It was at a store. I checked the rest and just the 2 had the problem.

I have had problems with their ammo several times and just stopped buying it. Never had the bullets just fall out, though. Usually the problems I get seem to be hard or bad primers; typically every 3 or 4 rounds per box would not fire so I just stopped buying them.
