Mine is bolted. Can't remember the weight. Make criminals work as hard as possible if they are going to steal your shit.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Bolt them down and have a house alarm.
No safe is a guarantee against a thief. If you give them enough time they can cut into your safe. A sawzall with metal cutting blades will get into 99 percent of all the safes out there in under an hour. Hence the house alarm.

Mine is a "nicer" safe, but my primary concern was fire protection(1600 degrees at 90 minutes). If a criminal comes prepared to get into a safe he will, no matter how much you spent.
I'm hoping between my alarm, my CCTV with alerts, my secondary alert system, and my safe my belongings are secure from would be criminals."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. 500 - 800 lb safes are easy to drag out of a house if they are not bolted down. The only reason it took 3 guys to move it is because you don't wants to damage the house. I'm pretty sure anyone trying to haul your safe away isn't concerned about your floor or walls.
A heavy duty furniture dolly, PVC pipes, golf balls, etc. will get a safe moving faster than you can stop it.
