Need Help to id this rifle

Guys..

The father-in-law of a friend recently passed on. In cleaning out the house, they found this badly rusted rifle in the attic. He can't find any markings on it ( possibly covered by the corrosion)..Anyone know what it is?? Sorry for the bad phone pics..
