      Got the same response to my email. I responded and said keep my order.

      I'm never buying from botach again. I can understand the mag issue, but the communication is horrible.

        Dear Valued Customer

        We regret to inform you that due to our POS (Point of Sale) system limitations on holding backorders for more than 60 days, current market conditions and no firm ETA from the manufacturer; we are canceling all outstanding orders for Magpul magazines.

        As the manufacturer is doing their best to supply all their distributors with small sporadic shipments, we highly recommend you to join our mailing list, Facebook and/or Twitter accounts for updates on inventory.

              Yeah I am about to attempt to cancel my order for regular mags from Mako. In stock my ass over two months ago. Their login page even says that they are in stock and shipping daily. Just recently they have added it may take up to 3 months to ship. I ordered 6 Pmags from DSG but will leave that order just to see how it pans out.

              I like this message they have added. Are they in stock or getting them in daily?

              30 round E-Lander magazines are IN STOCK and we are receiving large shipments several times each week. Due to the overwhelming number of orders we are receiving on this product, we estimate orders will ship within 2 - 3 months. We are receiving magazine shipments daily, but we can only logistically ship so many magazines in any given day. Please do not contact us about the status of your order until at least 6 weeks after your order was placed.

                I got my Botach letter today regarding my 3 20rd mags. After reading it I finally took the 2 seconds to unsub from their e-mail list... those fuckers send shit out 2-5 times a day for shit nobody really wants.

                    They told me they are close to shipping mine out. Been pending and not available to change order for over a month. I was told the order could not be canceled.

                        Speaking from a retail standpoint and having dealt with a few POS systems, sometimes provisions for these types of situations aren't built into their system. Their web/POS software may not have the provisions to cancel your order at thid point, if that were the case, I am sure they are (the software) programmed to charge your supplied credit card once the order status changes to shipped. This doesn't leave them any option with their current system to accomodate cancellations at this point. They could log all of the orders that are to be cancelled try to intercept them during packaging and refund the CC transactions. But then that is a whole new nightmare in itself.

                        Was this written to excuse the delays or any other issue you have had, no. I run in to issues like this semi regularly with our POS software at work especially since they made changes to our web fulfullment software. There are some things out of our control, and in the end, the only option we have is to allow the transaction to process, then refund the sale. Effectively tying up a customers funds for 3-5 business days.

                          They billed my CC the minute I submitted the order. There was no mention on their site about delays until a few days after I ordered and I believe it said four weeks or something. Well at four weeks my status changed to pending and or shipped and at that point you could not change the order or modify it. I get the fact that people are backed up and that doesn't bother me but they are pushing the lines of sketchy behavior. Not to mention they keep stating tons in stock and then in the next line they state they are getting shipments in every week. How about they quit taking back orders until they catch up. I get that Pmags are on a huge backorder and I expect a decent wait on them but these are not the hottest mag on the market either. It is no biggie I will just sell them when I get them since I have gotten some Pmags since then.

                              Mine still shows pending.

                              I just called and they said they would cancel it. They were quoting another 1-2 month time before it would ship. Never will I buy something from them again, in stock my ass. The only thing that shows a 2-3 month ship time is the mags that they have "in stock" Glad I only ordered 2 mags.

                              Besides, most of the products they carry suck.
