Hi Point .45 acp pistol

Now I know I am going to catch shit from some offical gun gurus on here. But I bought one of these, well, just because it was $172.00 out the door cost wise. That an if it panned out, I would much rather this get stolen from my truck than my glock or any other pistol I have.

For those of you that have not held one of these guns. They are BIG, heavy, ugly gun. If you run out of bullets, just throw the gun at them, it will case major damage.

I have put over 500 rounds through this gun. Never had a jam/misfire one. It holds good groups. Did I mention if you run out of bullets you can throw the gun at them and possibly kill them with it? I hate to say it. But It does what it is designed to do. They weight seems to help with the recoil.


I have had this for a while now. But just have not taken the time to go to the gun range to shoot it. Plus I was not going to post anything about it till I had at least 500 rounds through it. In my eyes, it is pretty much proven itself. I have no issues with the dependability of the gun.

Just an update. Oh, and I am not here to tell anyone to go buy one. Just my own review of the big ugly gun.

I own the 45 and 40. No jams and no FTF,ever. Most people who hate on hi-point have never owned one. To me, its all about comfort,reliability and ability to put it through the the black on the target. If you achieve all this then it doesnt matter what brand it is or isnt.
