  • Anyone have a gun safe hook-up?

I am in the market for a good gun safe that'll hold 24-35 guns. I'm looking at a few different ones made by Winchester, Cannon and American Security. The prices seem to range from about $600 to about $1,200. I want to keep the price down, but I don't want junk.

With all that said, anyone have a hook-up on gun safes?

I'm in the market for something similar if you find a good deal.

If you're looking at the Winchesters - Costco tends to have the same ones for about 15-20% cheaper. Only down side is you have to move it around.

I don't have any hook ups, but I would say get one bigger than that. I'm in the market for another safe right now. I've got a 24 gun safe and instantly outgrew it. A guy that I work with offered me what I paid for mine a few years ago, so I took him up on that and now I'm upgrading.

I haven't yet but have spoken with them. Fast responses and great prices don't hurt. They put a lot on CL which is how I found them...

I'm trying to go as big as i can, but I'm limited on size because of where I'm putting it. There are a few 30-40 gun safes that might work. With the door pockets in the Winchester or Cannon 24 I won't have as much room as I'd like, so I'm going bigger.

I have ten door holsters for pistols in my safe. It really helped me make room for more rifles.

I need to pick up a safe. Right now mycollection consists of one AR and one subcompact pistol. I am getting 2 AR lowers with the group buy, plan on adding a bolt gun, and another pistol or two. Any recommendations on a safe? Would like to stay under $250 if that is possible

                            Yeah a safe you want:

                            1) Bigger than what you need today. (think investment)
                            2) Big and heavy and bolted to the floor. (cheap usually = light or easily opened with some power tools)
                            3) Fireproof for as much as you can afford.
