I went to see if they has any .224 and 308 projectiles and I couldn't find anything. Shelves were empty.

Will .224 rounds reliably fire in a .223 AR style rifle?

Projectiles are usually .001 larger than the bore measurement due to the barrel having to groove the projectile.

I went to Bass Pro and Cabelas last weekend and was less than impressed, but I did see at least 1 10/22 at Bass Pro...

Looking at getting a 6.5 Creedmoor for my next rifle. There is not much in the way of factory ammo and if you can find it, it's $1.45 per round with tax. Went to Cabelas to look for some reloading equipment. If my calculations were correct, reloading 6.5 Creedmoor (if you already have the brass) would only be about $0.55 per round for powder, bullets, and primers.

Let me know if you see any reloading presses or supporting equipment.

I was there earlier picking up my S&W AR, shelves were empty of ammo. They got a shipment of ARs' last night, none made it to the shelf.

Creedmoor brass can be made from 308 brass as well as Nosler also offering brass for it now as well.

There's also some inconsistency in the naming of cartridges:
                      .44 Special/Magnum is a .429" projectile
                      .223 is a .224" projectile
                      .38 Special is a .357" projectile
                      .357 Sig/.38 Super/.380 Auto are .355" (9mm) projectiles
                      .32 S&W/S&W Long/H&H Magnum/.327 Federal Magnum are .312" projectiles

It's all about differentiating your product from others. .300blk, etc. It can get really confusing.
