That would be an LR-308. That's a pretty good price these days. I've been building one and can't even get certain parts right now.

Yes be careful what you call an AR-10. AR-10 is an Armalite, that is a different gun than a DPMS LR308. The majority of parts do not interchange. Getting the nomenclature wrong can make things really confusing for you.

Not bad. Personally I would recommend a forward assist, primarily because the slabsides look pretty ugly in my opinion, but it's all a matter of taste.

I thought that model did not have forward assist, I guess they updated it. (I can't see your link because of a firewall).

I think the AR10 is just the AR in 308. I had a DPMS LR308 with an A3 upper and it was a bad ass rifle. DPMS has hands down the best customer service I have ever worked with.

The AR-10 is the model number for the Armalite rifle, it's copyrighted. Only Armalite can make an AR-10. The LR308 is DPMS's and many other manufacturer's .308 AR's. They very similar, but they are not the same rifle. Calling all .308 AR's AR-10's is a misnomer and can lead to problems if you're buying parts. Same as calling mags clips.

I've had my LR-308 for a couple years and it has been a nice shooter with no issues.

I freaking love my dpms lr308. It is my primary hunting rifle. The only downside is the weight. Its 13.8 lbs with an unloaded mag.
