I wonder if the complexity of the gun was part of its demise. When you are in a life threatening situation and you have a massive adrenaline dump, your fine motor skills go out the door. You don't remember that you need to squeeze the grip to cock the gun, you need something that points and goes bang! Gross motor skills are all that you have at your disposal when the shit hits the fan.

And like I said before, after manipulating the gun, I just didn't like the feel and the action.

Perhaps, but I imagine that anyone who was trained from the ground up on the system was quite used to it. For example, a German officer may have never fired a pistol in his life before joining the Bundespolizei, and I am sure that repetitiveness led to muscle memory. I will bring mine out next time when we go shooting and you can try it out. Once squeezed it only requires 2 pounds of pressure to maintain the striker in go-mode.

CJ didn't stipulate that it had to be a factory Glock barrel.

it has a single action pull every time, very nice light trigger.

One must experience a P7 to understand to glory of it.

It is a very impressive firearm. I believe I'll buy one next time I see a decent price on one. I was impressed with how it handles, shoots, and operates.

And you actually proved the point people were making about glocks being superior. If they work under more conditions than a 1911, that means they are a better weapon.
just because you hand a dumbass a hammer he can't break doesn't mean it's a better hammer

does your double action 1911 work one we have at the shop don't work for shit

and the only reason I would not agree the p7 is a fine CC piece is it is extremely heavy having carried that and my pro carry I find I carry my 45 more tho I picked up a crossbreed type holster for it and I like that better

                              • Dohctr, how do you like that FN? I've handled a few and thought they felt good but haven't had a chance to shoot one yet.
