The way I read it the sale of "Assault Weapons" possessed before the date of enactment could be sold and transferred, but not the mags.

Also I didn't see anything about NFA registration, but I only glanced at it.

it's strange I know, but no where in there do I see a reference to hunting, sporting, or limited/unlimited...

I don't see how they could regulate this. If you have a spouse or family, how would they know what you have or given to them unless they were to report it.
