Think that's why you see the two points of resistance inserted into it. Would it help? Who knows, but it would probably make it a little more difficult to grab and yank a gun real quick.

My dad lives in OKC, and he told me that he open carried one of his revolvers, right after it passed. He said that nobody even gave it a second look...anyway, he says that he prefers to conceal carry, so that's what he does. From what I understand, that law was intended to keep people from getting in trouble when someone else accidentally sees their gun. For example; a woman opens her purse at a supermarket, to get her card or ID, and someone else calls the police because they caught a glance of her handgun.

I joke a lot, but I think a problem with open carry will be people will get too used to seeing people with guns that when someone does come in to rob them they wont be as alert. It makes bad guys easier to blend in.

Do I appose open carry? No. Will I do it? No
I would feel weird walking around with a gun on my side in the open. Im not a "hey look I have a gun, you better watch your shit" kind of guy.

Not likely to happen, but you let someone report it while you are eating at a restaurant and see what happens.

I never got my CHL mainly due to the printing thing. My step dad had his and was always overly cautious about printing but he always wore a western sports coat so concealing was alot easier for him.

As much as I agree with CJ's points I think if open carry is legalized then I would get my CHL since the fear of printing wasnt there anymore.

Well, are they referring to two points of resistance as in a level 2 retention holster or as in 2 belt loops on a Kydex OWB holster.

Until he pull his weapon and his slower reflexes and aim are taken over by a youthful criminal out to do harm.

The only one that comes to mind would be were an individual would be the target no matter what, something like a cashier at a late-night convenience store. Since the cashier would be the target anyways, maybe it would deter a crime.

That makes sense, but most cashiers would have the gun under the register, at least I would expect it to be there.

I just want the choice to carry the gun I want without being arrested if someone happens to see it. My p226 E2 is the gun I am most comfortable with, but is a pain in the ass to conceal and be 100% sure no one can see it in every situation. (sitting down, reaching up, etc)

Also, I think everyone should have the choice. Sure it my make them a target to a brave criminal, but so does looking like a bitch in a dark parking lot to a robber or a slut to a rapist. Those arent illegal.

Can you open carry anywhere on your body?

I don't think you can legally carry an AOW.

I open carry when im walking in the woods. Thats about it.

There is no reason to carry this way in public, except to draw attention to yourself.
