  • Went to Eagle tonight

It's "ladies night" which means $5 for female and stead of the normal $20. We decided to try it out since Stacy has never shot a gun period and I haven't been to a range since I was a kid with my dad

It was packed! There were 24 people in line and a total of something like 32 people there and every lane was full ( all 24). We waited about 30 mins and only 4 people had come out so we decided to leave and come back a different night

We did buy a couple cases while we were there since we didn't have one

I very we'll may have gone overkill on mine haha

Too bad you couldn't shoot. I can't say enough good things about eagle. It is kind of hard to communicate with your wife on how to shoot if the range is really crowded. Go on a normal week night towards close and it shouldn't be that busy.

that's the first time I've even loaded the mag... they are just rounded... nothing special... I bought both pistols, put them in the closet and haven't touched them until tonight and now prob won't touch them till we go up there again.

I kind of wanted to go with someone that's familiar with going to a range... I know it's no big deal but since I've not been since I was a kid... and Stacy has never shot anything, it would be cool if we had support lol

I asked Matt to go but he's in Memphis this week

Man, you should shoot at your dad's if there's a safe place there to do it (not going to hit neighbors house, etc)

we will next time we head up there but with deer season and all the other crap going on, we haven't been to the lake lately

and stacy doesn't go to the deer lease... that would have been too easy

no sir, only a couple posts back and forth on here. I work at Golden's in Whitesboro (old gas station on 377 that does auto repair) and live in the Cedar Bayou area. I remember asking you and you saying your dad lives near the Rock Creek Resort / Sheppard Annex area.

It's a beautiful area compared to the scrub brush and mesquite trees. We stayed at PawPaw creek most of the time until it closed or was bought out.

Your memories better than mine lol. Ya he lives up there right across the road from the near golf course at rock creek

He is also a Matco man so you may have seen him driving or maybe even stopped at your place. Really he is no longer "Matco" because they wante him to only sell products bought through Marco and he wasn't going to do that because there's lots of times he has to buy from someone else

So now he is "MOTCO". Truck has a new sticker on it but it is really similar in design

I've probably seen him driving through. Does he have a pretty big truck, saw a fairly new looking large Matco (or at least assumed it was) truck come by few weeks ago. If he still does Matco I'd like to warranty some stuff if possible. We haven't had Matco truck stop here in over 15 years I think. When I first started almost 16 years ago there was a Matco and Snapon truck coming by. Snapon has been consistant, had cornwell for couple years and now Mac pulls in. I primarily buy Snap On for my daily and heavy use tools since they've been steady. I have a buddy who was primarily a Matco buyer when he turned wrenches in Midland but since moving here 10 or so years ago hasn't had anyone to warranty his broken stuff.
