My first gun is a Winchester 94 in 22 mag, bought just around my birth and my dad was made to promise the seller it wouldn't be given to me until my 12 b-day, got it on my 12th Christmas (32 as of november). I ran 25 rounds through it probably 16 or 18 years ago and hadn't been shot before or since. Checkered foregrip, beautiful wood, sadly has a couple of bad spots on the receiver from rust damage about the size of pencil erasers. I do like lever guns, i've wanted a 12 gauge lever gun since the first time I saw Terminator 2

Roosevelt had a 94 with a can made by maxim, his I believe was offset to still allow use of the open sights.

lever guns suppress very well since they have no action/port noise. If I find a good deal on an 1894 I'll thread it for my can.

Just wondering if you guys know were I can get an original stock to match the gun so I can shoot it again. Don't want anything new, I want the wear to be consistent with the rest of the gun.

Good looking guns man. Looks like they've seen some action. lol

That's a whole lot of money in that gun.

I've got a 70's marlin 336 in 30-30. Great rifle, the round doesn't reach out too far but it's very good at moderate distances. I removed the lever safety and it is a blast to tote around the woods. When you can find them used they are very reasonably priced.

If I can find some used beat up .30-30 levergun for aroudn $200 I would thread it for a can. It's been a long time since I took apart an 1894 action, I don't recall if you can remove the barrel easily and chuck it into a lathe for threading.
