So I'm thinking I want/need to form a trust for what I have now in addition to what I'm planning on doing. I thought I saw where the ATF/FED has killed the trust option but I don't see that in this thread. Is the software linked on page 1 (obviously would need the current year software) still a good option or are there better options out there now that aren't in the $300-$500 range?

I guess really I'm just looking to see if the info in this thread is still accurate given political environment of the last few years.

Do not do the willmaker path. pm kbscobravert and he will take care of you.

The shit changes daily. Public comments regarding te future trust proposals closes pretty soon. If I were you, I'd get a lawyer if you're really wanting to go the trust route. You can do it yourself, but at least with an attorney doing it you can go back to them if and when it goes tits up for consultation on what to do next.

If Im single, do I have to have any trustees other than myself listed? Can I be listed as settlor, and trustee with nobody else on the trust?

Yes, you can be the sole Trustee and you will always be the settlor.
