Academy on Bryant Irvin had a little of everything EXCEPT 9mm.


They even had some .223

They had a couple of Glocks when I went. It seems that everyone is about to hit bone dry.

When I bought my Glock 26 at CTD, the guy in front of me at the checkout bought a gun, I bought a gun, the guy behind me had just ammo, but the guy behind him had a gun.

That's 3 out of 4 sales that were gun sales. Damn...

I watched over 100 transfers while I was at cableas on a Tuesday buying my 10/22. Took 2 hours to pay.

People were buying anything cheap. Lots of shotguns and pistols which is silly.

Went to Academy in Plano off tollway, they had 9mm. But all the handgun ammo and .223 and .22LR was up at the customer service desk as you walk into the store. I was kind of freaked out to see some guy standing there guarding the ammo, they are only allowing one box per customer. I had to check my GPS to make sure I was still in the USofA.

Well that's good to know (about 9mm being there). I am going up there for an eye appt. tomorrow, will be nice to get a few boxes (assuming they let me leave and come back in to buy a second)

Im down in cntrl Florida and it's the same here. And the 9mm 50rnd box's you can find that used to be $13.99 are $20.00+

This is crazy, me and my wife are taking or CHL class tomorrow and I went to B&S and bought some ammo for my 9mm for 29.99 for 50 rounds and for her 380 18.75 for 50 rounds. I have been looking at the XDS and they wanted 699.99 for it. Was a little cheaper then gun zone they wanted 749.99. I dont think I will be going to the range much with these prices. Wouldnt be to bad if it was just me but when we go I take all my guns and kids with me.
