  • Great Southwest Gun Range

Who was the guy on here that owned/worked at that place?

I just wanted to give him a heads up about an issue I saw posted on AR15.com. I'm not assuming anything, just wanted them to see he was posting this online so hopefully they can resolve it and keep their name clean.

I know a guy that works there. But I'm sure he won't tell me exactly what happened. I've always had good dealings with them.

Haha, that guy is getting bent out of shape over a misplaced package. I've known nick 10+ years, his dad almost as long and his brother in law 3-4 years.

I don't know a more trust worthy family, the Messinas are as honorable as they come. I'm sure they will make things right, probably just a misplaced package

I just wish I lived closer because I'd give them all of my business if they did.

Just went to GSG this past weekend. It's the only range i will go to since I can fire my 5.45x39 SBR there with surplus ammo, and they dont mind at all. Can even do rapid fire and they are fine with it.

The guys that work there are the friendliest around too. They will always get my business

What makes me laugh is that the guy answered his own question.

Start with all gun shops being busy as shit. Now then, they (GSWG&A) were expecting a firearm to do a FFL transfer on. They also got the extra boxes including the mags. More than likely, the mags are in the storage building. The guy even said, "they don't require a FFL for the mags, why didn't they ship them to me?" I bet GSWG&A wasn't looking for anything other than what required for the customer order (firearm) since they also had no idea the mags were coming... add in that they get box after box after box in shipping every day, this stuff can happen.

With it said that the guy is a whiny bitch, Nick needs to find those mags since he signed off on them

                    haha, true

ive had great dealings with them, this is just a case of misplaced packages and 2 different groups of people who accepted and delivered the packages

sad to see someone bashing a good company over a misunderstanding

I read that and in a matter of hours he worked himself into full internet rage. In real life, he isnt gonna do shit and when they find his mags or make it right hes going to forget about his rant and leave it up for eternity.

Unless he was willing to pay double shipping, they saved him some cash and shipped it to one location. Easy. The customer sounds like an idiot.

Haha well he is getting similar comments over there. Hopefully he will relax and give them a chance to find it or fix it.

I'd happily tell him to please not use me in the future if it was me.

He waited a month, so he could get his chl and save 5 bucks, to come pick stuff up and expected it to be waiting behind the counter for him as soon as he decided to show up.

Weekends are busy for everyone, they asked him to give them til Monday and instead he starts an I'm gonna sue thread. Top notch.

What gets me is that it looks like the guy just registered just to bitch. I wouldn't take anyone seriously who did crap like that, especially a person who hadn't given the business the time to respond properly. Nick is a stand up guy and he will make it right whatever the outcome is. I'm sure it's just misplaced somewhere.

Wow, that guy sure did blow a gasket. Nick will get him taken care of, although after reading that nonsense I'm sure he'd like to brain him. I know I would.
