I have noticed a few folks talking about the price. Mods don’t seem to be banning anymore as I see a lot of post with the words crossed out and some copy paste data from the rules list; but the post is still there.


LOL I just noticed in a few of the threads how everyone seems to be comparing their overly priced items to gunbroker.com.

"If you think this is unreasonable just take a look on gunbroker". Funny that they don’t mention the $20 P-mags at bass pro, cabelas...etc for comparison on their $55 priced Mags...lol stupid people

I've found gunbroker to be the most reasonable on prices. I've picked up some great deals recently from Polish sellers.

I've had to bite my tongue on THF a lot lately. I sometimes PM people who have posted in for sale threads showing interest in overpriced items and let them know where they can buy things cheaper.

Yeah, I do know even a long while ago they were not very tolerant of people being negative in a WTS thread about the original product. Best to lay low.

Guess I ruffled some feathers... They went so far as to have the top dog send me a lengthy pm and included the other moderators in it. Ultimately it merely skirted around the points I presented:

When a members posts on a free site, they should be respectful of the rules. We tend to pass on some slight rule violations until we can get the member to understand how the Classified Section works. If we allow a member to keep bumping his thread and/or allow other members to bump it, those that abide by the rules get a raw deal. I realize that you've only been here since May of last year and probably don't know the mechanics of a forum-based online sales section. With that said, most sites require a payment be made for the use of their forum. With that usage, you nor anyone else can post on that thread until the alloted time. Some prefer two days, others a week. We provide a free service and all we ask is that you follow the rules.

Can you ask them why I was banned with no warning...considering I have only been on the site for 4-5 months? I am That One Guy on there and I did nothing...would love to see their explanation on this
