SHOT Show News, SA increasing pricing on the XD's

So any news from SHOT Show? I heard SA has brought out the XDs in 9mm and Glock is making a 30s which is the regular 30 frame with a 36 slide. Don't really get it but it's out there.

I was also reading on an XD Message Board that prices on XD's had gone up after the first of the year. Anyone else hear or seen this? The reason being the dollar to whatever the Croatian equivalent is no longer favorable so they went up on the price. I hope that's not right as I had my eye on a XDm 3.8 Compact.

I went to gun zone to pick up a xds and it was priced at 699.00. Well i'll just wait on that one.

Does anyone anyone "get" the idea behind the Glock 30s? I did hear that it will fit in holsters designed for 9mm/.40's but other than that I really do not see any advantage of that over a regular 30.
