I've resisted for so long as I have seen how they have thrown us gun owners under the bus before. It seems like finally they are putting up the good fight, and I broke down and joined.

On Facebook I gave out 4 1 year NRA memberships to the first 4 people who I felt correctly understood the 2nd amendment.

I've been a member for the last 8 years. I know a lot of the older shooters don't like the NRA because they flopped on the '84 ban, but generations of new shooters are members now, and they know what they need to defend. If the NRA doesn't stand up, no one will. So it's our job to make sure they listen. The NRA-ILA has been doing some great work in the last 10 years.
