If you're getting a .30 cal suppressor you should definitely do it, but if you have another lower you can swap them out also.

I have 2 Aero Precision lowers coming in next week that I could do a .300blk and a 5.56. I bought a 16" upper from Red X that can go on a group buy lower. Thinking of throwing it together and selling it so I can build the aero lowers in sbr, and pick up a .45 osprey.

I have $550 into one build AR that I may be able to gouge $1500 out of at the show, then build the .300blk and sell for the same price. $3k will buy 1 Osrpey, 3 stamps, and maybe the kits for the 2 aero lowers.

Have you considered their new .45 symmetrical suppressor?

            Sounds like a solid plan.

Speaking of gouging, did anyone see 1fastvipper's $700 stripped lowers ad in the classifieds?

Yep, that's the new one. Don't get me wrong the Osprey is a great can, probably the best on the market. But I myself think the Octane would be a little more traditional.

I have the Octane 9 HD 2. I love it. Sure the 45 is just as nice. The 9mm can is also sub .300blk rated etc.

On another note, its funny how AR mags are expensive as fuck and that's about it.

                          • I might entertain paying $200 for one, but for $250+$15+$30 to transfer no thanks. Hopefully I can trade some pmags for one at the gun show tomorrow, already have a complete piston upper and a LPK.

I just placed my order for that same exact can about 2 weeks ago. Any particular reason you "love" it?

I like its size over other models that do the same thing.

I was tempted to get the Octane .45, but since both my suppressed platforms are 9mm, I figured go with what I planned on suppressing.

How well does it suppress .300?

And from what I can tell..if that guy sold all of his lowers for $250 and he purchased them originally for say around $58...wow...$19,200 profit!!
