I caught an ad earlier on the local craigslist of a high capacity mag for an AR, think it was a 60 round or something, I copied the name and googled it, but when I came back to the ad it had already been flagged. Anyways, the guy wanted $600 for the single magazine...

I saw another for the window versions for $50, but nothing that high. I assume these are being flagged because craigslist policy does not allow the sale of weapons and related items.

I have never had the desire to buy a bunch of the same guns. I have always figured that as long as I have one for me, I'm good. I sat out the last big push in 2008, figuring I have made it this long without needing one, so why get caught up in the hype. I did decide to get in on the poly stripped lowers this time around, just because I would eventually like an AR15 and don't want to get stuck paying way more than I need to.

FWIW, the only reason I posted this thread is because I figured people here would be interested in what stuff is being listed for. I have never flagged an ad for removal on CL.

I gave $30 per mag. I paid too much thats why I have to sell them for current market value. I had plans to build all my lowers out and have 15 mags per lower but am selling it all.

No I didn't flag it. I would have ran you all over town for a few hours to buy them all at once. But I'm not gonna do that either because there are a lot of stupid people out there willing to make you some money.

Maybe these posts will keep getting flagged until its illegal to sell. Then you just get charged with a crime.

Its one thing if you have the stuff already and make some money off it, but when you clothes line the entire shelf of products into your basket, go home and relist for triple, yes I have a problem with that. The reason there is shortage is because of douches like him.

People clearing the shelves like that is why our local academy is rationing the ammo out periodically throughout the day and limiting quantities.
