Looks like it's a temporary move until the dust settles, like CJ's MidwayUSA email. If I were a retailer, I'd hate to have a ton of stock suddenly be on the wrong side of the law.

i dont see why they would suspend ammo sales. if anything is going to happen, they will most likely try to restrict internet ammo sales which will drive more people to purchase locally

I doubt the validity of this on a store wide basis, maybe just on a individual store basis though

Its crazy. I got lucky and found 5.56 62gr today for 175.00 for 250 rounds just because I needed it. I was laughing that SG got in 9mm, 1000 round case, hollow points for 259.00. Over a hundred cases gone in a hour or so with a limit of 2. I bought one since my new back up is going to be 9mm but I think others may be hoarding.

It seems everything is in demand for the time being. I have some stashed away, but would always accept free ammo lol. I don't know why, but it seems like 9mm ammo is also being bought up like crazy. Can't find that anywhere, but you can find .40 and .45.

I was just thinking it cant be. Walmart doesnt give a fuck about anything but making money. THey wont care what legislation will do unless it prevents them from selling.
