    MidwayUSA e-mail I just received

    Dear me,

    We have been holding some products for you, waiting for other items to arrive so we could ship your order complete. However, we believe an Executive Order could be released any day prohibiting the sale of certain products such as high-capacity magazines and AR-15 parts and accessories. Therefore we have done a partial release of your backorders to ensure that any of these items and other items we had in inventory waiting to ship complete are all on their way, in case such an Order is forthcoming. You will receive a shipping notification shortly. Other items on backorder, that we have not yet received, are not affected by this partial release.

    We appreciate your understanding and your business. We always put Customer Satisfaction first and believe this action is in the very best interest of our Customers.

      Several pmags. I had black and FDE. Seeing as I have several FDE lowers, and no FDE mags I am not happy. Anyone want to trade NIB black pmags for FDE?

                Wait no I did have an e-mail about brass. When I was listing brass it was getting about 50 e-mails a day, lost it in the mess. I can sell you brass when I get more in, I don't have any at the moment.

                      Well that would be incoherent CJ. The president can make an executive order sure. But he can't outright ban them that same day. He's the president not Queen Elizabeth II. Although he is enough of a pussy to bow down to her in her presence.

                      Also Executive orders cannot make laws.
                      First hand witness at the failure of public healthcare.

                        It appears so, but if my other mags come in I'm going to be kinda pissed if they charge me shipping twice because they were trying to avoid a loss. I actually called them and asked if they would do this, and they said they would hold them. I appreciate they are taking the initiative, and that's great, but I hope they don't charge me.

                            It's possible, they are definitely one of the biggest retailers. But my guess that was just for PR, and midway doesn't have much PR flash for politics.

                              Better ship stuff now rather than later...

                              If I were companies that had backorders and was worried about this ban, I would charge the customers upfront and say the product was sold BEFORE some nonsense ban.
