Ya know, every time I time I try to debate with an anti gun person or watch these debates, the more frustrated I get. These people have absolutely no logical argument for their misguided views and every time you clearly point out how illogical their argument at the moment is, they simply throw up some polluted statistic and jump quickly to another easily disprovable argument. Sad thing is this doesn't just occur with the anti gun debate.

When I moved from the defense industry to the oil and gas industry, certain people acted as if NOW I worked for the big bad guy. Instead of realizing that my goal is now to improve the O&G extraction process driving prices down, they act as if I'm killing babies.

No matter how many facts I've presented, the most common rebuttals were alon the lines of "No way thats right, I saw something in TV about ____". When they hear facts they pause for a brief instant, then immediately decide its not what they WANT to hear.
