Came across this yesterday and thought some here might find it interesting. I personally don't shoot steel in anything but my AK. http://www.luckygunner.com/labs/brass-vs-steel-cased-ammo/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=55fe0250f8-1%2F20%2F13-+NewsletterList&utm_medium=email#reliable
was good yesterday as wellFuck you. We're going to Costco.

I was surprised at how quickly some of those barrels were being "shot out" with only 5k-6k rounds through them. I guessed that one would get at least 10k rounds out of the life of the barrel. I'm also pretty impressed with the results from Federal, I have several hundred rounds of that sitting in a box at home.Originally posted by JesterEvery time you see the fucking guy....show him your fucking dick.. Most barrels should last 20k rounds at least."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Does the twist rate just drive actual contact between barrel and bullet or is there more to it than that?
