Has he posted a pic of it? I think Jester could tell the difference between intentional rust bluing, and surface rust. I can see confusing browning MAYBE...

Well i finally had enough time today to work on the shotgun and really go over it.
Cleaned the barrel, scrubbed the guts really well, and then went over the exterior very lightly with steel wool. Finished up the exterior with a good coating of barricade. the gun looks great!

Talking to an expert right now on getting a new forearm for it.

Oh, and it has been browned......and this was the first time i have ever held a browned weapon and it looks JUST like surface rust.

The gun is brown, not black or anything close to black.

Lol...I've been shooting since I first turned into a little dbag at the age of 5. But if you're ever in the area and want to blast through a few hundred rounds we can have some friendly competition. I am not claiming to be the best show however.
