    God bless.
I hate that feeling. I always feel like I need another of something I already have. The Takedown would go well with my 2 others also.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I have an AMT Lightning, basically they AMT knocked the 10/22 off, got sued, and quit production. It's stainless, came with a side fold stock factory, extended mag release, fixed iron sights, machined receiver for 22 scope rings (no mount needed). I run a 6-24 tasco scope, sighted at 100 yards, a stainless mini-14 muzzle break (adds nice look), cheap laser with foregrip switch (sighted @ 40 yards), and this week installed a stainless bolt release, a more extended mag release with textured thumb area, titanium extractor, titanium firing pin, and oversized, skelatonized, titanium charging handle with new guide rod and recoil spring, previously I installed a bolt buffer. I have a couple ruger 25 round mags, several butler creeks, and a couple of eagle 30's (pure junk).

Anyone seen the Bullpup FN P90 conversions for the 10/22? There is a guy on youtube that took an airsoft P90 and gutted it. The 10/22 fits perfectly with the cut of an ejection port door.

or this. I am a HUGE zombie fan, have been for years, and despite other people opinions about the company who made it, i stand by my decision.

                  looks kind of pregnant.

I went with VQ everything, and also all the things CJ suggested, and it was the best decision I could have made. It ended up costing just under a grand total, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If your pockets are deep enough, you cant go wrong with VQ gear.

Thats funny! but, we shouldnt insult chimps, they are way more intelligent. Yes, i did give those monkeys money, and i got a stock and poo flung at me, and not necessarily in that order... Im a huge fan of Max Brooks, so i got it. Like i said, i stand by my decision, no matter how dumb it was.

Kidd and VQ both make excellent stuff for the 10/22.

As does Clark Custom, I have one of their trigger sets, it was like $65 total and included everything, hell of a deal.

So bringing this back up to the top as I'm planning on doing some mods to my 10/22 over the holidays and looking over some of the suggestions here. So far I'm planning on upgrading the mag release, auto bolt release, bolt handle, maybe an upgraded stock, and a powered scope of some kind. Besides the normal suppliers like Midway, I saw Kidd Innovative Designs, Clark Custom Guns, and VQ (which I'm assuming is Volquartsen Custom.

I'm looking at this being a fun (cheap) plinker that me and my nephews can shoot and the upgrades I have in mind are to improve the functionality. Any other suggestions you guys can think of? Is it worth upgrading the trigger while doing the above upgrades? Will I see a big difference with an upgraded barrel? I haven't shot it at any significant distance so I have no idea how accurate the stock stuff is but I would like to give it a try at 50-100 yard ranges.
