Looking for recommendations on a good folding pocket knife. I've got a $25 Cabella's gift card, so something that can be had from there would be nice. Would prefer American made. I read a thread in the back porch where a lot of people seemed to recommend the SOG twitch II. Any other good recommendations?

I carry a Kershaw Leek. I actually lost my old one down a storm drain last year but my mother-in-law bought me a new one for Christmas. The assisted open makes it easy to open and close with one hand.

I have a SOG twitch II and I love it. Best knife I've owned. I've had it 3 years. Small, light, very quick to open. Their website has a bunch of cool gear on it too.

I carry my Kershaw leek everyday, I have 8-10 other knives at the house and in my truck, but the leek stays with me every day. Good size, easy open.

This is my EDC, cheap, not used for anything serious, but for $13 shipped, it's my favorite.

I carry one too... not really a fan of the locking tab that holds it shut though... half tempted to remove it.

On this subject, I just ordered a kershaw skyline and chill. I looked at the leek but the handle didn't seem good defensive purposes.

                        For $25? Seriously????

For a small knife, I carry a Kershaw Ken Onion Chive. It's damn sharp and small.

I enjoy my kershaws. Got a s30v blur and a ram.

You can get them really sharp, hold a decent edge for edc stuff.

I use mine daily for cutting through alfalfa hay bales. and anything else i need.

Hell i clean fish with the damn things.

After about a week the s30v one needs to be stropped. Then its back to shaving hair sharp.
