Colt model 80 Goverment 1911 45 acp

Hey guys just a question my step father has a Colt 1911 goverment modle 80 that is blue with checkered wood grips. Gun has seen less than a box of shells he says and it looks brand new absolutely no wear on it He said that he has owned it for 10+ years if that matters can you guys tell me a fair price as to what it may be worth. His health is bad and I might buy it from him so just looking for a fair price ?

well I see some for 995 but no bids on a couple sites I am on but not sure if that is regular price or inflated price for all the BS going on

1911s shouldn't have any increase in value from an AWB scare. They don't come factory as a high cap gun and high cap 1911 mags just fucking suck and are odd.
