I have started collecting parts to duplicate this gun some what

Searching around tonight, I found this buffer tube:

I am building my pistol around a NFA poly lower receiver. I think the gusset that they added to that tube will help add some strength to the back end of the gun.

Thoughts?

I was giggling cause tons here have caught on or been "referred" but you have not heard I assumed.

Word. I have 2 in right now for SBR. It would/will be more once I get my checkbook in the mail.

Got it to load finally. Looks like a lot of those guys beat the hell out of them with no failure.

I think it depends on the cal of round the upper is shooting (like a rifle). Since .223/5.56 tends to break poly lowers after some time around the stock's neck. I would consider a poly lower if it was a subsonic round or maybe a pistol type caliber to reduce the chance of a stress fracture in that area

Is this first hand experience? I have mostly found people who have a buddy or heard about poly lowers breaking . Plumb crazy had some issues with inferior plastic in the beginning but most all issues have been resolved from what I'm finding . I researched for hours and the best advise I can give to the owner of a poly lower is don't run over it .

I wish I could edit posts from tapatalk. What about .300blk I haven't done any research on it. Is it a decent candidate. I think I remember seeing it is a subsonic round, though I think it isgeared more towards suppressor use
