Got my wife a Beretta Nano for her CCW. She tried a few different guns, but never found one she could use with ease. Even though she hasn't shot the Nano yet, she really liked the way it felt, and she could manipulate with ease.

I've shot one and its a good pistol. Recoil isn't too bad and it's very slim and concealable.
My wife carries a Sig P238.

Nice, I was looking at that gun as well. Was trying to decide between Kahr PM9, Beretta Nano, and M&P Shield. Ended up with the Kahr since it was the smallest and easiest to carry2002 4.6L 5spd S281

Update. Took her out to shoot it today and she likes it. She took a minute to get used to the longer DAO trigger but over all she is pleased with it!
Here is a shot of her first two mags she ran through it (12 shots) from ~15-20 feet. Oh pay no attention to the little bitty one on the far right, my youngest son shot that with his Daisy Red Ryder!

I actually shot a few rounds through it and I liked it. I was expecting it to be snappier than it was since it's a pocket 9mm
. We did have 2 FTE's. Although I am sure I limp wristed it on the one I had and she did the same on the one she had.
