    *** NOTICE ***

    If you plan on building an AK at the build party you must make sure you are bringing the correct part count to build a 922(r) complaint rifle. The purpose of the party is to give you the necessary advice and guidance to build the rifle yourself. You will be building your own rifle.

      I decided to go with the Nodak lower reciever, NDS-2EZ. They said expect to get it sometime in Feb.

            Don't take my advice, but I believe the trunion is considered part of the receiver on an AK. It's irrelevant if the receiver is US made since the trunion isn't.

              Anybody have a lead on AK74 lower receiver rails? I have two sets of 7.62 rails, but the 5.45 rails are different I believe, with a longer extractor.

                One of my parts kits came in today, pretty nice and numbers matching too.
                On another note Im kinda worried about my order from whatacountry, it posted to my account when I ordered, but has now been credited back to my account. I hope it comes through cause I also ordered several steel
                7.62x39 mags.

                  That's the centerfire kit right? Take any close up pics of the parts? I think I'm about to order the same kit, who knows when other kits will show back up.

                      It should work the tantal receiver as it doesn't have any holes on it yet. So if you purchase the kit from centerfire you can indeed build it. As for the rails, I will get back to you guys on that, I will test it on my spare ak-47 receiver and try to see if it works with the 74 extractor.

                        I'm in to build at least one. I have a few AMD 65 kits that I've had for a long time that need to be built. Just had these Hungarian AMD 63 kits finished.
