Ok just re-read the flat info, will work for AK47. The polish kit I listed says it needs a milled receiver, would this stamped flat work? Than what else would I need, besides having the barrel drilled for the gas port?

Yep, a milled kit needs to go with a milled receiver. Milled receivers can be found, but are more expensive.

You will need a rivet kit from RTG ($8), receiver rails ($10 at RTG), parts kit, barrel, 922r compliance parts (which your barrel meets, as well as your semi auto trigger group), and that's all folks.

Dont forget that during the last ban, it only allowed complete guns to be a "preban" category. So stripped receivers built afterwards, were post ban guns.

Just some thought as I know most get concerned with the constructive intent thing when it comes to NFA guns.

Yes, it is a bit more involved than an AR build but TPM here locally can help you if needed.

So wait... if I build all my stripped lowers before the ban, and swap complete uppers with them that means that it was a finished rifle? If the rifle was completely built then I should be exempt correct?

I have been planning on building a few AKs. I've got two 7.62 and a 5.45 receiver and rails with a few other parts. I really just need to decide on parts kits. Oh, and I need a 12 ton press and spot welder.
