    6.8 Special upper - Where to buy?

    In my debate between 6.8, .300, and all the other possibilities I think I have chosen 6.8.

    I think.

    I've got a completed lower receiver, I need an upper assembly and BCG. What options do I have besides Model 1?

    Edit:
    Would mostly use this for Hog Hunting.
    I'm looking for something inexpensive and basic. Probably would go flat top over A2, but I don't want/need a quad-rail ect. I am probably going to change out my collapsible stock for a fixed one if anyone has a lead on a cheap one as well, used is fine.

    If you want the availability of commercial ammo, go 6.8. Rock river has a few nice 6.8 uppers.

        I think Ammo availability is the only thing steering me towards the 6.8 right now, and it is a very thin line. If I had the money I would just buy both.

        Hell I don't have the money, and I am tempted to go ahead and buy both but at this point I'm probably better off picking one, buying it, and finding as much reasonably priced ammo as possible.

          This, I am using my credit card (within reason) to get most the stuff I want. I figure, if they do ban this stuff, at least I have a couple extra laying around...helping keep the dust off the floor
