          Not really, their gun laws are insanely restrictive. You're pretty much restricted to bolt action rifles and shotguns. You also have to have a license to buy and own guns with a long wait. 12ga's and mauser's for the aussies

            Yeah they can have pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Most stuff is available with the appropriate endorsements however.

              How are New Zealands gun laws? I just know they are big on hunting over there....

                I like the way even our law makers seem to think the 2nd refers to our right to hunt. Not as a check to government power.
