Storing weapons

Hypothetically, what would yall suggest as a container to store rifles and firearms, for long term? I'm thinking PVC pipes wouldn't be ideal so I'm asking for suggestions. I want something I can coat my weapons with oil and then put them in and bury the whole damned thing.
